Type of works: supply of 15 Purus Line drains from Purus Group.
von Essen Hotels has selected Purus wet room drains for the spa at Hotel Verta, its first luxury hotel in London. The hotel is located at the Bridges Wharf development adjacent to the London Heliport in Battersea and will be officially opening on 12th September 2010.
The state-of-the-art spa, built over two floors, will feature the latest in both hydrotherapy and chromatherapy technology. The spa has fitted 15 Purus Line drains around the pool and shower areas. Purus Line drains are an attractive and modern drainage solution as they offer an uninterrupted tile design across the floor of the spa. The project with von Essen Hotel was specified by RDD Design Architects.
Peter Bradbourne, Managing Director, Purus UK, says: Purus Line drains complement the overall look and feel of the spa as well as offering a practical solution. Small streamlined drains have increased in popularity over the years and are becoming more widely used in larger scale buildings.
Purus floor drains have been designed to meet the exacting requirements for design, functionality and safety and comply with the British Board of Agrément standards.
With the opening of Hotel Verta, von Essen now has 30 luxury hotels in the UK and France including Cliveden in Berkshire, Amberley Castle in West Sussex and Ston Easton Park in Somerset and The Ickworth in Suffolk.
