Client: Sanctuary Housing Association
Contractors: CCG (Scotland) Ltd
Type of works: supply of 1,200 sqm of 8mm Bauclad

Bauclad High Pressure Laminate from CEP has been used to create a striking modern facade for the first of a five phase new housing development in Anderston, Glasgow.

The £50m Anderston redevelopment project was undertaken by contractors CCG (Scotland) Ltd for Sanctuary Housing Association. The development has been undertaken to regenerate the Anderston area by providing 435 new build high quality homes, and feedback from a focus group of residents who visited the project is very positive.

Architects specified 1,200 sqm of 8mm Bauclad from CEP in colour Rose Grey, a colour which had been discontinued from their range but was in reintroduced especially for the contract.

In addition to its cost-effectiveness, Bauclad was specified because of its anti-vandal properties, modern appearance and ease of installation. Bauclad is a popular choice for modern design due to its high impact and pollutant resistance, double sided finish and the benefits associated with extremely effective, long term weather protection.
