NVC’s commitment to sustainability affects all areas of the business, from achieving a Silver Ecovadis accreditation, reducing packaging materials and replacing paper instructions, and creating the PROe range, a collection of sustainable lighting solutions designed for forward-thinking projects.
When commercial fit-out specialists Calztec moved into new headquarters, they chose 54 DALLOS PRO lights from the PROe range to create a modern working space that wouldn’t compromise on energy efficiency.
A sleek and dynamic light, the DALLAS PRO has ultra-low glare (UGR<19, multi-wattage selections and can be RAL matched to any colour. The result? A workspace that looks modern and aligns with Caltztec’s brand, showing that optimal lighting can bring a whole new dimension to a space.
Bradford Grammar School (BGS) also partnered with NVC Lighting to implement a full lighting upgrade, replacing outdated fittings with high-performance, energy efficient LED solutions specific to different parts of the campus
NVC supplied a range of products which included the YALE PRO, a low glare luminaire with selectable output, and the WESTMINSTER and WASHINGTON recessed downlights. The project also had STERLING PRO LED panels and DENALI circular bulkheads.
All the lights in the project rated L80 at 100,000 hours to substantially reduce maintenance time and costs, and BGS was able to cut its energy costs by over 34% - around £65,000 a year.
NVC also partnered with Edmundson Electrical, coming up with a tailored solution for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust as part of its Energy Efficiency Fund upgrade.
A tailored selection of LED products, including the YALE PRO, ideal for corridors and staff areas, and TEXAS battens were provided for utility spaces. COLUMBUS and PORTLAND bulkheads, which are IP65/IK10 rated were also added along with WASHINGTON recessed downlights, dimmable fittings and smart switches across the seven buildings across the Trust’s Estate, to support the NHS’s long-term sustainability goal.
