A Striking Foyer That Sets the Tone
Using materials, textures and colours that aren't typically found in an office setting, the striking foyer combines warm concrete tones with greenery, soft furnishings, and artwork to create a fresh and modern aesthetic.

As experts in design-driven security, Boon Edam was approached by the client to deliver a bespoke entrance solution that would complement the ultra-modern interior whilst ensuring secure, monitored access. Boon Edam worked closely with the client to better understand the project and design requirements and produced various drawings, visuals, and material samples to help bring their vision to life.

Based on the specification, design requirements and anticipated footfall, Boon Edam proposed a Crystal Tourniket revolving door and a bank of 3 Signature Speedlane Edge speed gates.

All-Glass Revolving Door Maintains the Sense of Openness
To maintain the sense of openness in the foyer, Boon Edam delivered a bespoke all-glass revolving door which serves as the main entrance to the building. The striking Crystal Tourniket is clad with a powder-coated stainless-steel trim and finished with patinated 90/10 gilding metal to complement the glass façade. As a finishing touch, Boon Edam added the Ilona Rose House logo to the drum walls, and door leaves to further emphasise the building's visual identity.

Aesthetic and Secure Solution for Ilona Rose House
The minimalist timber-panelled walls, gently rippling mirrored ceilings, and smooth concrete flooring are perfectly complemented by the Signature Speedlane Edge. The crisp, square edges and bespoke vibration stainless steel finish add to the depth and texture of the space. In keeping with the visual identity of Ilona Rose House, Boon Edam personalised the two end cabinets by adding an engraving of the building's logo.

"The design and finishes of the turnstiles were what initially attracted us to Boon Edam. Their designs are sleek, modern and in keeping with our lobby design. But having the flexibility to customise the materials and finishes to suit our design vision was what really sealed the deal for us," said Interior Designer at Paola Leon Design.

Upon entering the foyer, Signature Speedlane Edge speed gates intuitively guide occupants towards the bold and colourful lift lobby. The position and configuration of the lanes create a physical barrier providing protection against unauthorised access and deterring intruders. The bank is configured with two standard 615mm lanes and one 915mm wide access lane for disabled access or large goods delivery.

Seamless Integration with Leading Access Control Systems
The Signature Speedlane Series is designed to integrate seamlessly with leading access control systems to provide maximum flexibility. The generous space in each cabinet, Boon Edam was able to easily integrate the clients preferred access control, including a QR reader, card reader and lift destination display units. . The speed gates are also connected via the BoonTouch access control panel, which provides personnel with greater control over each turnstile. In addition, building security can control the turnstiles from anywhere within the reception by using a remote key fob.
