GDL supplied its Intelivent Wall Units and Penthouse Turrets on this project, all in varying sizes to meet the ventilation demand of the occupied spaces at Brimmond Primary School in Aberdeen.

The new £11.9 million Brimmond Primary School development accommodates the pupils and staff of both Bucksburn and Newhills Primary Schools. The two schools were amalgamated and temporarily housed at the Bucksburn site permitting the demolition of Newhills School so the new build Brimmond School could take place.

GDL's Intelivent products are particularly effective in school classrooms, sports halls and assembly areas where occupancy varies throughout the day and a controlled ventilation rate is required.

The Wall Units and Penthouse Turrets work in harmony allowing a controlled environment whilst maintaining security at the school with no open windows. The Intelivent Turrets offer a balanced supply of fresh air whilst removing warm stale air, an ideal product to ventilate a sports halls/assembly areas effectively and efficiently.
