Broxap, the UK’s leading street furniture designer, manufacturer and installer, announce the acquisition of a new 2,500m2 National Distribution Centre. This investment represents a key milestone in Broxap’s commitment to meeting ever-growing customer demand with speed and reliability.
The National Distribution Centre, located in Newcastle-under-Lyme, is formed of two units. Unit 1 is a 1200m2 hub racked out to accommodate over 1000 euro-pallet spaces, all designed to hold our extensive range of in-stock street furniture, litter bins, bollards, shelters, and cycle parking. With external loading bay areas for HGV vehicle despatch, we ensure popular products remain readily available, enabling more efficient delivery to customers across the UK.
Unit 2 will serve as a central hub for Sunshine Gym, holding a wide range of our high-quality outdoor gym equipment within the 680m2 space. With over 3,500 outdoor gyms installed across the UK, Sunshine Gym inspires and motivates users to keep fit and healthy while also bringing enjoyment and social interaction into workouts.
To complement the new distribution centre, a cutting-edge 3.5-tonne flatbed with a trailer has been introduced to the transport fleet to improve the movement of goods to and from our six-acre factory, boasting eco-friendly technology and enhanced load capacity.
“The opening of our National Distribution Centre is a proud moment for Broxap,” said John Boyle, Managing Director at Broxap. “This facility, along with our new vehicle, will ensure our in-stock products are always available and delivered swiftly to meet the needs of our customers.”
Broxap’s Manufacturing Director Matthew Miles adds, “Our new National Distribution Centre is a game changer for our operations. By housing our in-stock products in one location, we can ensure faster delivery and maintain high product availability for our customers. We’re eager to see this milestone’s positive impact on our strong supply chain.”
