Contractors and fitters can save time, cut costs and avoid mistakes thanks to a new service from furniture fittings and architectural hardware specialist Häfele. Häfele to Order is a value-added service that enables customers to order products to exact size, quantity and finish specifications, eliminating the delays and expense caused by product only being available in a limited range of options.
Products can also be packed and assembled according to customers’ specific requirements. The new service is particularly beneficial for those working with traditional “long” items which are usually supplied in pre-determined lengths. Using brand-new cutting machinery Häfele can now trim products to fit customers’ required measurements prior to dispatch. These include lighting strips, wardrobe rails, Gola handle profiles, sliding door tracks, plinth panels and seals. Door by door packing is available for architectural projects and popular brand drawers like GRASS and MX are also available pre-assembled to save further time on site.
There is no minimum order size and customers have the option to either receive any off-cuts along with their order or turn them over to Häfele for environmentally-responsible disposal.
All requests will be considered, and Häfele is encouraging contractors and fitters to get in touch with any requirements.
Lee Dicey, Chief Commercial Officer, Häfele comments: “We want to provide customers with the very best value-added service and we are constantly innovating to make life easier for the experts using our products. Supplying pre-cut, finished and packed products, even by plot, will allow our customers to make significant time and money savings.”
The ordering process is very easy - simply complete a form on the Häfele website. This then generates a quote before the order is confirmed.
