One of the UK’s leading manufacturers of tensile fabric structures, J & J Carter, has been awarded the Runner-Up Prize for the ‘Exporter of the Year’ Category in North Hampshire’s prestigious Inspire11 Business Awards.

The lavish ceremony, held on Thursday 10th November at the Hampshire Court Hotel, saw over 500 guests from organisations throughout Hampshire compete for prizes in 12 different categories including Business of the Year.

J & J Carter was recognised for the Exporter of the Year Category as they are one of the world's largest producers and exporters of Keder, currently exporting over 1 million metres of Keder to 11 different countries worldwide including USA, Dubai, Finland, Australia, Portugal, Ireland, Namibia, Sweden, Israel, Hungary and Singapore.

“We are extremely pleased to be awarded Runner-Up for this category in the Inspire Awards. Overall the export side of the business has grown by 41.59% in the last 12 months. We have a growth strategy in place for this division and having just recently secured a new distributor for France, Italy and Germany, we look forward to expanding into these regions in 2012,” commented Director Robert Carter.
