Jaymac Security Products has recently secured the contract to upgrade physical security at Business Post sites nationwide. The sites at Leeds, Leicester and Manchester have had the unique and innovative Scorpion Spike Barrier installed.

This unique product incorporates the speed, ease of use and familiarity of a traffic barrier with the added high security of a row of spike teeth in the ground. The teeth raise and lower in conjunction with the barrier making it completely safe for legitimate users but should illegal entry or exit from the site be attempted, the teeth will ‘disable’ the offending vehicle.

The barrier can be used with any of the traditional access control methods and the quick and simple installation has proved a big success with Business post one of the UK’s largest mail companies.
