Kingspan Access Floors is installing nearly 27,000 sq m of access flooring at One Angel Court, a new 21-storey office and retail development in the city of London, close to the Bank of England. Kingspan Contracts’ work on installing the RMG 600 panels on all floors of the building began in August and is due to be completed by the end of the year.
Designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, the One Angel Court project involves the complete redevelopment of a 25-storey 1970s octagonal tower, stripping the building to its core and recladding it with floor to ceiling glazing.
One Angel Court will have a double height entrance of over 9,000 sq ft and will provide approximately 300,000 sq ft of high quality office accommodation, with six ‘Garden’ and 18 ‘Sky’ floors with 5 terraces, enhanced ground floor retail space, including a 16,000 sq ft restaurant, and public realm. The scheme has been designed by Fletcher Priest Architects for Stanhope PLC and Mitsui Fudosan, with the main contractors being Como.
