Klober underlay for 13th century church restoration

Klober Permo® forte vapour permeable roofing underlay has been used in the restoration of the Church of All Saints in Winterton, North Lincolnshire. The project attracted £748,000 of Lottery funding, enabling extensive roof repairs and slate replacement to be carried out to the Grade 1-listed building.

Permo forte was initially specified following recommendation from the roofing contractor as architect Brian Foxley explained. “Joe Greenland & Son Roofing Contractors take great pride in their work and wanted to use the best products. Use of Permo forte was also fully supported by principal contractor Aura Conservation of Manchester”.
