Kloeckner Metals UK, multi-metal stockholder & distributor, continue their investment in their value added processing portfolio with the installation of the Bysotronic Xpert 320/4100 in the Blackburn plant.

The Bysontronic Xpert range has the capability to offer the highest level of repetition accuracy at the press of a single button. Using pressure reference technology with fully automatic crowning it’s capable of delivering first class bending results on parts up to 4100 mm long, combined with a maximum of 320 tonnes of pressure if required.

The latest Press Brake addition will enable Kloeckner to fabricate material into different shapes, complimenting their flat bed lasers which also currently occupy the Blackburn facility. In addition to The Press Brake itself, Kloeckner have invested in the Xpert Tool changer, a compact automation solution for fast bending tool changing which ensures there is no need to manually load any material, supporting their Safety First initiative whilst still reducing set-up time and therefore improving production efficiency.

With continued investment to Kloeckner Metal UK’s production portfolio, we can only expect to see them further cement their position in the market place as one of the leading metal and value added services provider.
