Our members are KNX certified and all abide by the KNX UK Code of Conduct providing specifiers and consumers with peace of mind.
Our members consist of UK based KNX Manufacturers, Integrators, Training Centres and Distributors. It is our mission to raise awareness of the benefits of KNX technologies in the UK Construction Industry. Especially in terms of energy targets, building life cycle, sustainability of resources and adaptability to changes in legislation/required functionality.
KNX is approved as an International Standard (ISO/IEC 14543–3) as well as a European Standard (CENELEC EN50090 and EN ISO 22510), US Standard (ANSI/ASHRAE 135) and Chinese Standard (GB/T 20965). KNX is therefore future proof. KNX Products made by different manufacturers can be combined – the KNX trademark logo guarantees their interworking and interoperability. KNX is therefore the world’s only open Standard for controls in both commercial and residential buildings.
KNX Association is based in Brussels, with National Groups in 45 separate countries. The global association is responsible for testing and certifying product compatibility for over 550 manufacturing companies and training and assessment for over 100,000 Integrators, assessment and accreditation of 520 Training Centres worldwide. We are very proud to be a part of the global community and the ethos of sustainability through collaboration and interoperability.
