Mr & Mrs Cowan are the proud owners of this beautiful new build property in Surrey. “We own the house next door and originally, this was all land that was part of that house. We saw that as a great opportunity and so, decided to split the land, retain some of the garden and build on the rest” comments Mr Cowan.

With a blank canvas presented to them, Mr & Mrs Cowan were able to show their creative flair and designed every aspect of this new build themselves, along with the help of an architect they brought on for the project.

All materials were sourced directly through the Cowan’s and when it came to the windows and doors, Mr Cowan went online to research potential suppliers. “I knew I wanted engineered timber, so this was the starting point for my research. Through this, I came across the Dale website and was able to see some previous jobs and houses that they had supplied which was great”.

Entrance Doors
Following some extensive research into potential suppliers and various styles that would suit the home, Mr Cowan specified this beautiful Bevington entrance door finished in the shade of ‘Grey Blue’. The door is partnered with a Chrome Doctor’s knocker, doorknob and escutcheon

Flush Casement Windows
To partner the new front door, Mr Cowan elected for timeless flush casement windows finished externally in the shade of ‘Grey White’ and internally in ‘Pure White’. The new windows feature 18mm astragal glazing bars and Polished Chrome Teardrop handles.
