“Dale did a really good job of matching the style and design of the original windows. The finish is so good that some people think they are plastic. But when they get up close to see them properly and touch them, the quality shows, and they can tell the difference. I’m very happy with the look of the property now, it is much smarter and neater”
Mr Thompson - Self-Builder
The Project
Jamie Thompson, a previous customer of Dale Joinery, has recently completed large renovation works on this 1930s property in the Suffolk countryside. “When we purchased the home, almost everything needed updating. Only the walls have remained, with everything else replaced and rewired to bring it up to modern standards” Mr Thompson comments.
Flush Casement Windows
“The property had timber windows originally and it really needed to be replaced with timber again. Any other material wouldn’t be right for the architecture and period of the home” Mr Thompson explains. After speaking with the Dale team, timber flush casement windows were specified in ‘Pure White’ and installed across the property.
French Doors
At the rear of the property, a large set of timeless French doors with sidelights and a toplight were also specified in the same ‘Pure White’ finish as the new windows. The new doors are much smarter and neater than the old set of French doors that were replaced.
