Meeting surge protection requirements no longer means giving up a usable outgoing way. Lewden’s 125A TP&N Type B distribution boards are designed with an integrated Type 2 SPD, pre-fitted directly within the board’s main body. This eliminates the need for an extension box or a separate SPD enclosure, offering a space-saving solution that keeps all outgoing ways available.
Available in 4, 8, 12 and 16 usable outgoing ways, these boards allow for maximum circuit flexibility without compromise.
Space Efficient and Installer Ready
The SPD and MCB are positioned adjacent to the main switch in a dedicated compartment. This layout keeps all outgoing ways free for MCBs or RCBOs and maintains a clean internal structure. It is a compact, all-in-one design that saves wall space and reduces the time needed to fit additional enclosures or adapt existing layouts.
Each board is delivered with the SPD already installed and wired. There is no need for tails kits, knockout modifications or additional fixings. Installers can complete jobs faster with fewer accessories and less time on site.
Surge Protection Built for Modern Requirements
The factory-fitted Type 2 SPD offers protection against man-made switching surges. It is suitable for use on TN-C-S, TN-S and TT earthing systems. This makes it a practical choice for a wide range of commercial and industrial environments where sensitive equipment and regulation compliance are essential.
With the SPD mounted internally, the overall board remains compact and efficient while fully complying with the requirements of Section 443 of BS 7671.
Strong Construction and Trusted Quality
Built from high-quality, robust metal, the board is designed for long-term durability in demanding environments. Clear terminal markings and ample wiring space make installation straightforward. The enclosure is designed with the installer in mind, offering easy access and a professional finish.
Lewden has been supporting electricians since 1946 with products that are reliable, forward-thinking and built for site conditions. This TP&N board continues that tradition with a fully integrated, regulation-ready design.
Lewden’s TP&N distribution board with integrated SPD protects against transient overvoltages without taking up circuit space. It supports full board capacity with 4, 8, 12 or 16 usable ways and arrives pre-assembled to save time and simplify installation.
