The pioneer of steelwork fixings has launched an informative online resource, created for specifiers and contractors with the aim of improving the speed and ease of designing steel connections.
The development releases a fresh digital identity for the global brand as Lindapter celebrates its 75 year anniversary with a vibrant new look, completely original content, and use of the latest technology to simplify the specification process.
Convenience and ease of use are fundamental to the design allowing an engineer to access product data in as little as 2 clicks from the homepage. Simplicity of navigation is coupled with a wealth of information including project examples, independent approvals, safe working loads, CAD downloads and installation guidance.
The Assembly Selector is a unique, innovative tool allowing a designer to select the type of steel sections they intend to connect, resulting in the software suggesting an appropriate Lindapter configuration. The assembly is presented in an integrated SolidWorks window and can be rotated in 3D and manipulated to clearly illustrate the connection and individual components. Upon entering beam dimensions and load conditions, a Lindapter engineer will promptly supply a bespoke design, specific to individual requirements.
This recent investment of technology underlines Lindapters dedication to technical support and complements the comprehensive service offered by experienced engineers throughout all stages of a project from free design and calculations to site visits and installation advice.
