Liniar Launch New Product – Patio Plus

Liniar Launch New Product – Patio Plus

Patio Plus Contains No Fewer Than Twenty New Features For This Kind Of Product, And With Patio Doors Often Making It No Further Than The Drawing Board These Days It Is Refreshing To See One Of The Leading Independent Systems Companies Bringing A New Patio To Market.

Speaking for Liniar Managing Director Roger Hartshorn stresses that the new Patio Plus is designed specifically for Liniar fabricators. “Unlike some systems we will not let our key new products out to anybody but fabricators of our whole system. It is important that we repay our fabricators’ loyalty to us by bringing out new products which will give them an advantage over their competitors in the market place; and with over 20 USP’s, we are extremely hopeful that the new Patio Plus will do just that. The Patio Plus is designed as a system, profiles and hardware working together to create a fantastic product for the market. It is also designed with one of our key principles in mind, to drive fabrication cost out of all our products”.

Key features of the new Patio Plus include a revolutionary four wheeled bogey system which gives the product a uniquely smooth running action and which Liniar thinks will have outstanding consumer appeal. With a slim-line five chambered sculptured sash and a sculptured glazing bead as other key features of the range, the company also believes it has brought patios into line with the rest of the market where modern sculptured window systems are increasingly the norm. Already capable of meeting the thermal requirements of the proposed building regulations due for release in 2013 using just the most competitive of sealed units, the Patio Plus is also extremely secure, benefitting from being designed for use with the ModLok ™ modular hardware system which the company has developed with Yale Hardware.

Combining hardware and reinforcement into one modular part, ModLok™ provides increased strength and rigidity whilst also including the highest security six point locking mechanism, including two genuine shoot-bolts. It is also a true anti-ligature product, even with the lock engaged in the open position.

Working with Yale Hardware as a partner was the ideal solution for Liniar; Yale’s experience of developing the highest quality locks over 150 years of business gives ModLok ™ an immediate market pedigree as well as its unique design features, and as the most well-known brand in the eyes of the public it gives Liniar customers a great advantage when selling the product into the market.

Speaking for Liniar Technical Director Adrian Redshaw re-emphasised the thinking of the company “our path is clear, we are committed to designing innovative products that give our customers something better performing than the products which are already in the market. At the same time we are helping them to reduce fabrication time and overall production costs whilst giving them products with a genuine sales advantage over those of their competitors. Partnering with Yale Hardware was a natural fit for us and brings all their experience to the development of a brand new industry concept. Fitted to our new Patio Plus it gives our fabricators something very different to offer the market.”

With the product available in the autumn the company is hosting two open days for its fabricators during the first week of September. A full fabricator support pack including consumer brochures, features and benefits brochure, trade price list, and fabrication and installation manuals will be available during the open days. Liniar fabricators can look forward to having another fantastic new product at their disposal.
