WoodUpp had the chance to visit the home of Mark Falgren aka Lovestick- the drummer of Danish band, Lukas Graham.

Acoustic panels in smoked oak

As soon as you enter Lovestick’s front door, you see a wall enhanced with smoked oak acoustic panels in the hall. The details are very well thought out and from the first moment on, there is an instant super cosy and homey feeling.

A clear line through the decor

The warmth continues to spread throughout the whole apartment, where white and brown shades are the main focus. In his own home studio Lovestick created a space to make music every day within the comfort of his own home.

“It is important for me to have a great practice room because it is inspiring compared to the music I make. It’s clear for me that in order to make great music there has to be great surroundings as well. So for me it’s just important if it looks great and that it’s inspiring.”

A studio wih great acoustics

There was often a heavy echoing sound in Lovestick’s vocals before the acoustic panels were installed. With the quality now better than ever, those times are in the past.

It is the 70’s in his studio

Wherever you look in the studio, you are reminded of the good old 70s. Retro Furniture and warm colours gives the room a really unique and cool look.
