A total of 20 Hörmann 2019 Garage Light doors were chosen by R B Farquhar Homes for their luxury housing development near Elgin, Scotland. Specified on the basis of their reputation for attractive styling, operational efficiency and outstanding build quality, the doors are from Hörmann's popular Series 2000 range.

The 2019 door was particularly appropriate for this type of development this is due to its attractively stippled opaque diamond-glazing panels. Not only do these windows add a highly individual and elegant appearance to the houses, they also allow light into the garage interior, transforming it from a basic storage space into a valuable working area.

R B Farquhar went through a strict specification process for each of the ten luxury homes on the Elgin site. Each house features a double garage space with two separate, fully retractable 2019 doors. The doors are constructed from high-quality, timber infills that are extremely hardwearing and durable. The windows, made from durable Perspex, are available in the clear or stippled opaque finish, with a plain, diamond or square shaped 'leaded light' appearance.
