Aliva UK is celebrating a magnificent 7 award shortlistings in the 2024 INCA awards recognising their high rise EWI with brick slip credentials alongside our exemplary approach to partnership working.
They are proud to have:
• 4 shortlistings in the New Build: Residential - high rise category for the Morriss House, Cortland Broad Street, Hove Gardens and Trapezium projects.
• 2 Judges Choice shortlistings in the Architectural Design - high rise category for Morriss House and Cortland Broad Street.
• 1 Judges Choice shortlisting in the Environmental Impact - high rise category for Morriss House.
Their A1-rated Kiwa UK accredited award shortlisted projects include:
Morriss House in Nottingham, for client Unite Students. Over 8,000sqm of our EWI with red and buff clay slips, including acute and obtuse angled slips and corbel detailing, alongside stone rainscreen cladding as an accent feature. Aliva UK worked in partnership with main contractor RG Group, architect Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson and installer Stoneguard to deliver this flagship sustainable Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
Cortland Broad Street in Birmingham for client Cortland. This 105.5m new-build Build To Rent development features 11,000sqm of EWI with clay slips in smooth red, delivering on design intent with repetition, reliability and flair with a repeating chamfer as the ‘basketweave’ reveal. Aliva UK worked in partnership with main contractor RG Group, architect Corstorphine & Wright and installer PIC Construction Group to deliver this statement tall build project that’s changed the city’s skyline.
Hove Gardens in Brighton for client Watkin Jones Group. Featuring 4,000sqm of EWI with clay slips and 800sqm EWI with ceramic slips, alongside aluminium and two types of stone rainscreen cladding. This ‘high five’ of finishes pays homage to this stunning coastal town’s beach hut lined promenades. Aliva UK worked in partnership with main contractor RG Group, architect Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher and installer PIC Construction Group on this beautiful Build To Rent development.
Trapezium in Leeds for client Torsion Construction. 1,150sqm of EWI with clay slips for this statement student accommodation in the heart of the city. Aliva UK worked in partnership with Hamilton (Building Contractors) Ltd and DAY Architectural to deliver this stand-out scheme.
