The project
From staff desk areas and board rooms to break out zones and washrooms, Malvern House recently set out to refurbish their entire office space. With a full office refurbishment planned, they had the opportunity to improve the working experience of their team and maximise available floor space.

The challenge
As is the case with most office refurbishment projects, time was of the essence so the facilities could promptly open back up to staff. With this in mind, quick and easy to install products were high on the priority list for the Malvern House’s management team.

We worked with Accredited Installers T-IPS and office fit-out specialists Overbury to supply suitable washroom systems. Overbury are an award-winning office fit-out and refurbishment team who were looking to use 5 star washroom systems in their designs.

The solution
Striking, minimal and stylish Unity cubicles were chosen for the staff washrooms. Unity’s flush-fronted, clean design is one of the reasons why it’s our most popular cubicle range. The sleek hardware and emergency release indicator bolts not only look stylish, but are robust and hardwearing too, ideal for busy washrooms.

The toilet cubicles were specified in our ColourCoat finish, meaning the MDF core doors, pilasters and partitions were sprayed with a 20% gloss value paint. With 10 colours to choose from, the client opted for our ‘Mid Grey’ colour for a neutral and contemporary design. Not only does the paint give the cubicles a soft sheen but it’s a durable, tried and tested finish.

Vepps, in complementing ‘White’ ColourCoat, was specified which meant the toilets and flush plates were pre-plumbed, sealed and tested at our manufacturing facility, enabling T-IPS to fit each IPS panel 50% faster than plain panel alternatives. Specifying Vepps means all duct space is concealed and ongoing maintenance is easier than ever before.

Our much-loved Quartz vanity units, in a Q3 profile with fully inset basins and upstands, have completed the lustrous washroom design. We also supplied vanity access panels in matching ‘Mid Grey’ ColourCoat, once again allowing the client to fully conceal duct areas.
