Parkit Systems have provided their manual rising arm barrier at the Ouse Valley Boat Club to ensure ducks are kept away from the boats.

The boat club had a problem with ducks entering the boat house during the launching of boats onto the river, and were looking for a method of keeping them safe.

The barrier was mounted over the river entrance into the boat house with an extended bottom skirt going down to the river level.
