Marley Alutec is committed to designing the most sustainable, durable and high-performance guttering, rainwater drainage and eaves systems available. Its products are manufactured from marine-grade aluminium, an infinitely recyclable material that requires little energy to recycle and repurpose.

Due to the material’s naturally occurring protective oxide coating, it is also highly corrosion resistant, with a 50+ year functional life expectancy and minimal maintenance required.

All Marley Alutec systems are available with an architectural grade polyester powder coating (PPC), ensuring an attractive, durable finish. A lightweight and strong alternative, aluminium systems are also up to 65% lighter than cast iron alternatives, with a high strength to weight ratio.

To reinforce the sustainability of its product offering, through great efforts over the course of the last 18 months, Marley Alutec has worked towards the ISO 14001 certification which recognises environmental management across its manufacturing and operational processes.

Successfully attaining zero landfill waste was at the core of the ISO 14001 certification. As such, Marley Alutec has changed all packaging tape from plastic to paper, ensured that all bubble wrap used is fully bio-degradable and that small products are shipped in recycled cardboard boxes.

Any scrap material including wood, cardboard and aluminium is now fully recycled, with Marley Alutec working to select waste service providers who offer environmental practices in line with ISO 14001. Furthermore, its warehouse in Bedford has converted all fluorescent lighting to more environmentally friendly LEDs, enabling a 30% reduction in the company’s energy consumption.
