Marsh Industries treatment plant at National Trust Centre

Marsh Industries treatment plant at National Trust Centre

Marsh Industries has supplied and designed a Uni:Gem Polylok Belowground Plant for The National Trust Visitors Centre at Sheffield Park. The plant uses the unique Polylok 625 Filters.

The Gardens at the National Trusts Sheffield Park is a very popular all year round attraction. Visitor numbers approach nearly 2000 a day in summertime. The National Trust were concerned that there was potentially a major pollution problem from Suspended Solids entering the Lakes from their existing sewage plants. Marsh were commissioned to design a new upgrade system.

Marsh worked with the National Trust & The Environment Agency on the design utilising the existing tanks for primary settlement. The final treated effluent was designed so it could disperse into the local lakes. The plant solved the problems at Sheffield Park in a cost effective manner.
