A diploma in art and design led to Matt developing a strong interest in architecture and construction early in his career. It also formed the basis for the enviable talent he has for 3D modelling and computer animation, particularly architectural visualisation and product rendering.

With that background, Matt joined the building industry. His first appointment was at a leading construction products company, where he spent a number of years progressing from a trainee to senior technician and gaining his ONC and HNC in construction on the way.

Later he joined a civil engineering company in Bedford. After four years however, Matt went back to his former employer, where he became Technical Sales Manager, before moving on to join the team at Schöck.
