While there has been a lot of discussion about the viability of social distancing measures, surprisingly there’s been rather less mention of the importance of hand washing. That is something that needs to be addressed urgently.

The old workplace environment is no longer adequate to meet the new challenge and working environments, such as construction sites, will need hand-washing stations placed at regular intervals across the site.

The company believe that it is crucial for hand washing to be a high priority on every site. That means placing facilities at every stairwell on each floor plate, so that site operatives can wash their hands before entering and when exiting a level. Hand washing facilities should be placed carefully on a floor plate near busy areas to ensure site operatives can take regular breaks to wash their hands.
