Batchglow were asked to provide a tactile, bright and cost-effective finish for their client’s range of children’s furniture.

The furniture design included sculptured edges and rounded corners, providing a soft feel to the draws and wardrobe doors.

Batchglow proudly offers the only Powder Coating plant for the finish of MDF in the UK. The product, which is popular in mainland Europe and America offers the benefit of a high quality finish to high volumes of panel products.

The finish is VOC free, Class 1 fire retardant and can be requested with anti-bacterial properties.

This solution meant no edge banding or visually distracting lines by providing total encapsulation of the MDF.

Batchglow worked closely with clients on colour selection which resulted in specifically made powders for their exact requirement.
Panels were process quickly and efficiently in a consistent and smooth decorative finish.
