Textend 702 fire-retardent architectural PVC-coated polyester from the Locker Group has been installed as a tensile membrane entrance canopy at a Sainsbury's store in Gloucester.

Thirteen 7m x 12m hyperbolic panels were used to form a visual impact storefront canopy. The panels rely on their double curvature patterning to remain in tension under snow and wind load. The translucent properties of the material allows shaded light by day and a discreet glow by night.
