In 2016, MicroLovure ™ was proven to achieve 68% energy savings following tests in a study commissioned by Pacific Gas and Electric at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

The testing was done to find the most energy efficient sun and heat protection on the market and proved the overall difference between internal heat blocking devices and external sun screening such as MicroLouvre ™.

The tests were conducted using the best low-e glass on the market and MicroLouvre ™ still achieved 68% energy saving.
