MicroLouvre™ prooved to be Hurricane proof

After recent product testing by the Building Research Establishment it was declared that MicroLouvre™ by Smartlouvre® is hurricane proof!

The testing took place in a BRE wind tunnel in London. Testing was undertaken at speeds of up to 45.4m/s (102mph) and with three wind directions.

After testing the product was examined for signs of damage and no visible signs were discovered.

Testing was carried out by Gordon Breeze and Dee Athwal from BRE and witnessed by Carter Gilbert from Smartlouvre®.

MicroLouvre™ external sun screens are light, durable and are windproof, capable of withstanding winds in excess of 102 mph.

They are easily and quickly fitted to both new and existing buildings, without intrusive support structures and can even be fitted direct to glass and existing frames. MicroLouvre™ enables buildings to meet all energy performance regulations.
