Hanex are proud to have contributed to the Milton Keynes Cancer Centre, a vital addition to the region’s healthcare infrastructure. Delivered under the NHS ProCure22 Framework, this state-of-the-art, 3,000m² facility brings together services that were previously spread across multiple buildings on the hospital campus.

The centre now co-locates oncology, clinical haematology, and cancer-related chemotherapy services under one roof, dramatically improving the experience and continuity of care for patients. It features a 24-bed ward, along with consulting and therapy treatment rooms, designed to provide a calm, efficient, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

As part of this landmark £11 million project, an approved Hanex Solid Surface Fabricator, delivered a range of bespoke fitted furniture including:
• Solid surface worktops
• Oak veneered nurses’ stations with Hanex solid surface countertops

For this healthcare application, Hanex Solid Surface in N-White was selected for its anti-bacterial properties, durability, and seamless finish, making it an ideal solution in high-traffic clinical environments where hygiene and resilience are paramount.

The new Cancer Centre has significantly enhanced the hospital’s ability to deliver high-quality cancer care and increased overall capacity, ensuring better outcomes and comfort for patients across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.
