St Anns shopping centre was officially opened by Princess Diana of Wales on 18th November, 1987. Located between St. Anns Road and College Road of Harrow Town Centre, St Anns is home to over 40 high street brands and food court.

A modern designed building in a town famous for Georgian architecture, St Anns is a full day attraction.

For their washroom design they wanted minimal, sleek and clean to inspire the high-volume of traffic visiting each day. Dolphin worked with Prime Interiors contractors to implement this vision. They choose our following Alavo washstations; Alavo Supaloo, Double washstation, Triple washstation and Five washstation.

In the ladies washrooms, the panel lighting was pink which reflects nicely off the Corian white trough basins. The icons are blue to encourage intuitive use of the behind-mirror products such as soap dispenser, tap and hand dryers.

This is a nice feature as it removes the need for the user to not have to leave the hand wash facilities to then dry their hands, which decreases spillage of water on the floor, minimising slip risks. The men’s was the same, with blue panel lighting and pink icons on the mirror.

The less-is more approach to the surrounding design meant the Alavo washstation could take centre stage in the washroom. The all-in-one wash wall makes for easier cleaning for facilities teams, helping to ensure clean washrooms throughout the day, making a pleasant experience for customers when they visit.
