Type of works: installed MSite biometric access control and work force management solution
Human Recognition Systems (HRS) recently deployed its MSite biometric access control and work force management solution on Mansell Constructions £13.4 million Minories project in central London. Working closely with the Mansell construction team, HRS was able to design and deploy a system that met the complex layout and needs of the site.
Having completed a site survey, HRS realised that a standard set up would not best fit the complex layout of the site. HRS proposed a wireless solution that would communicate between the MSite software at the site accommodation and the turnstiles at the site access point.
With the installation complete on site Mansell were able to manage site access for the workforce, while running a series of information management reports that allowed business decisions to be made. A significant reason for the deployment of MSite was the ability to run reports and audit against CSCS and site incidents ensuring that health and safety compliance was 2nd nature on the project.
Michael Connolly, Mansell account manager at HRS commented: This is a significant project for HRS as it has given us clear opportunity to deploy the MSite system in a complex environment and work closely with one of the UKs leading construction companies
