Mitsubishi Electric's energy saving technology on display at new permanent exhibition

Mitsubishi Electric's energy saving technology is on display at a new permanent exhibition at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon, which has been established to provide the selfbuilder with everything needed to source, finance, design and build their new home.

"The stand has been designed to highlight the advantages of adopting a whole-house approach to heating, ventilation and power generation, but also conveys the individual benefits of air source heat pumps, Photovoltaics and Lossnay heat recovery ventilation," explains Sharon Oliver, Marketing Communications Manager for the Domestic Heating and Photovoltaics departments.

There are tens of thousands of homes built by selfbuilders in the UK each year and Mitsubishi Electric has designed the exhibition space to provide this audience with all the information needed to make the best decision for their new home.

The company's award-wining Ecodan® air source heat pump is ideal for both new build and retro-fit properties and will provide renewable, reliable heating and hot water all year round, whilst helping houses meet Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. The range of Photovoltaic systems will generate power for the home for decades to come and can earn income for the homeowner from the Government's Feed In Tariff, and the Lossnay heat recovery ventilation system will help save energy, whilst keeping the home fresh all year round.
