In July 2019, Variopool successfully installed a new movable floor in the Waardergolf swimming pool in Heerhugowaard.

The movable floor, installed in a therapy pool, measures 6 x 13 metres.

An integrated staircase was also mounted within the movable floor. This ensures that if the floor is raised, the stairs will automatically go with it.

The design of the floor makes access for disable people easier than with regular pool floors. This is due to the fact that the floor can be set equal to the platform.

This makes this type of movable floor perfect for hydrotherapy usage, an area of expertise for Variopool.
