Neaco’s Spectrum balustrade system continues to be a popular specification in the education sector following its installation at Parks Academy in Hull.
Nylon coated aluminium Spectrum has been chosen for countless school projects over the decades. Unlike fabricated solutions, their Spectrum system is pre-engineered for modular assembly on-site, providing fast installation which makes it ideal for tightly scheduled construction phases designed to minimise disruption to school activities. Spectrum is also smooth and warm to the touch with a zero-maintenance, non-chip finish which is suitable for high-traffic areas used by children.
Other completed projects include Heptonstall School, Elthorne Park High School, East Riding College, Fulford School, Hexham Priory School, Long Field High School, Midgley School, Oldham Sixth Form College and York High School.
All requiring no welding for assembly, these schemes specifically chose Spectrum’s versatile modular system because it has the capacity to meet virtually any design permutation or installation requirement. Its wide range of design options includes offset glass infill, offset top rails with multi-rails or glass, and a choice of tapered or straight flat-bar stanchions. As well as perforated panels, Spectrum’s selection of infills includes vertical or horizontal rails, perforated panelling and toughened glass panels. The system is also available in satin polished stainless steel or an aluminium/stainless steel combination.
