New Mobile Concrete Batching plant for Easycrete

Easycrete ‘Mix It With The Best’ having installed a new Mobile Concrete Batching plant in their Surrey depot.

Thirteen years ago, the Kavanagh brothers from Hurst Green started a concrete supply business with a single volumetric lorry from a yard in Crowhurst. Phillip, Shaun, Kevin and Murtha Kavanagh are excited that June 2015 sees the launch of their £0.5m investment in a new mobile batching plant and concrete recycling facility installed in Lambs Business Park, Godstone. Together with their fleet of 7 lorries including both drums and mobile batching vehicles, Easycrete plan to capitalise on the concrete needs of the new build housing market in the South East.

Murtha Kavanagh said, “We are proud to be supporting industry in Surrey and the surrounding areas by developing our business into a construction supply chain asset as well as offering local employment opportunities as our business grows. The MCM60 allows us to batch 1 cubic metre of concrete per minute up to 500 cubic metres per day which has a significant impact on our output capability and will take Easycrete to a new level as a concrete supplier.”

Easycrete offer BSI accredited readymix and volumetric concrete products that are specifically designed for maximum flexibility and a wide range of applications and include Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and GGBS concrete blends with a full range of chemical classes.
