onthecase has updated over 30 poster cases at London’s Greenwich Park by replacing the poster cases but retaining their attractive cast frames. This was possible by exactly matching the sizes of the original cases installed 20 years ago.
onthecase has just updated over 30 poster cases at London’s Greenwich Park. Providing attractively presented information to visitors is vital to the Park both to show how to navigate around the Park and to advertise special events and current displays.
The Classic series 60 poster cases that were chosen matched the size of previous cases exactly which allowed the supporting cast frames to be retained which was both cost effective and minimised installation costs and disturbance.
Jamie Wood, MD of onthecase was responsible for the original installation of the poster cases in 19XX commented “It is always gratifying to see a product last so well and then be asked to provide an upgrade when it finally becomes necessary. The design of the cast frames fits perfectly with the Park and we were delighted to be able to bring the poster cases fully up to date with minimal disturbance to the Park or its visitors”
Improvements that were delivered with the newly installed Classic series 60 poster cases include top hinges that use gas cylinders to make access easy when the case is opened, and each case’s two locks now have improved frost proofing as well as being vandal proof. They are also weather proof and now come with a two year condensation guarantee.
Finished in powder coated black onto aluminium, Classic series 60 cases can be wall mounted or post mounted (as at Greenwich Park) and have the option of being unlit or having top lit fluorescent or LED illumination. Powder coating in all RAL standard colours is available.
As well as the single sided Classic Series 60 poster cases, onthecase offers a range of outdoor poster cases that include monolith, wall or post mounted cases, single and doubled sided cases, and cases in a variety of standard and custom sizes.
