New staff at rooflight manufacturer aim high

Two new team members at a leading rooflight manufacturer are aiming high as they replace colleagues who have amassed years of industry experience between them.

Craig Hebberd joins Xtralite as Area Manager for the North West and has 10 years experience of the roofing industry. In addition, Rob Wall enjoys an internal promotion with the company having been a valued member of the Installation and Contracts staff for over 7 years. In addition, the company has taken on Business Administration apprentice Curtis Thompson, 19.

The new recruits join the company at an exciting time as its product range and market penetration continues to expand. Recently, it has launched its X2 rooflight which delivers greater flexibility during the installation process but also addresses industry requirements for increased sustainability and building performance.

Jim Lowther, sales director Xtralite, said:"Craig and Rob replace Ivan Hartshorne, 75 and Bev Holding, 67, who have both decided to embrace the delights of retirement and it has been essential that we find quality replacements so that they can enjoy substantial and detailed handovers with them. “Both of our new area sales managers have considerable experience in the construction and rooflight industries and, whilst Ivan and Bev’s shoes are challenging to fill, I am confident that we can achieve this together"

Jim concluded; “New challenges always prove very exciting and present opportunities for growth and development for us all – I am sure that Craig, Rob and Curtis will do extremely well and I look forward to developing their careers with them.”
