The Wykamol Group are very pleased and excited to announce that Chris Ingham BSC, CSSW, NVQ Level 4 has joined the business as of 2nd January and will be our new Technical Specification Manager.

In his younger days, Chris spent 6 years working as a labourer throughout construction sites in West Yorkshire, assisting all trades and learning the construction industry at grass roots. He then went to Leeds Beckett University where he achieved a first in Building Surveying and spent a year placement as the Project Manager of the University Estates Department. during a time of extensive redevelopment throughout the campus. Working alongside BAM, interserve, and smaller contractors, for the refurbishment of two 9 storey office blocks, a Grade 2 Listed Buildings, installation of a fashion studio, and reactive maintenance.

I aim to draw from my experiences and technical knowledge to ensure I can contribute to the successful delivery of Wykamol products and enhance the customer experience, ensuring Wykamol is successfully accessible to the construction market. Once Graduated, Chris enjoyed working as a Building Surveyor and Project Manager on several multi- million pound projects in commercial, healthcare, and residential new builds and smaller extensions. This involved CAD Design, Planning Applications, Building Control Applications, Construction Design, Contract Management, Party Wall Surveys, and Dilapidation Surveys. Chris enjoyed the role of a Building Surveyor before discovering the world of Ground Gas Protection and Waterproofing. Chris has since gained the CSSW and NVQ Level 4 in Ground Gas Membrane Verification and has gained a wealth of experience as an Independent Verifier.

Chris will be working from head office on waterproofing designs and working on our ever increasing gas and Waterproofing projects, working with Liam Leaonard and Mike Dunn in our technical department Chris will also be helping us increase our Waterproof concrete sales in the North of the UK.
