Cubicle Centre has provided new stylish washroom facilities for Portmeirion tourist village in Gwynedd, North Wales. The unique Portmeirion has served as the location for numerous films and television shows, and was “The Village” in the 1960s cult television show The Prisoner. Over 200,000 people visit the village every year, making it one of most visited tourist attractions in Wales.
The village recently refurbished their toilet block to offer the best tourist experience for its many visitors. The washrooms featured Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) cubicles, vanity units and wall panels. This material is waterproof, tough and vandal resistant so it can withstand the high volume of traffic.
The new washroom resulted in a very happy customer, :"Ask anyone who has attended an outdoor attraction or festival about the least enjoyable aspect of their visit and the answer is predictable – the toilets. Thankfully, when nature calls in Portmeirion, you can expect cleanliness and state of the art public facilities thanks to Cubicle Centre. Our new toilets by the toll blend in with the unique beauty of the village while facilitating more than 200,000 visitors a year. Amazing!”
