nora floor coverings for research & education building

Approximately 2,700 SQM of noraplan® floor tiles provided a perfect solution for the Bob Champion Research and Education Building. Officially opened in February 2015, the Bob Champion Research and Education Building is the latest research facility, partnered by the University of East Anglia (UEA), Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

To meet the client’s brief, Architects Hawkins Brown required a hard wearing, durable floor which would provide comfort underfoot and ease of maintenance. nora products ticked all the boxes. 2,700 SQM of noraplan® sentica and noraplan ultra grip and accessories, including skirting and adhesive from nora systems, were specified for its high-performance which offer the ideal solution when it comes to sustainable building.

nora floor coverings are characterised by their permanent resilience and long lifecycle. The very dense surfaces of nora floorings require no coatings and are therefore exceptionally durable and wear resistant; this makes them extremely robust and resistant to laboratory chemicals and other damaging effects. nora systems offer a complete flooring system with particularly low voc’s which aids indoor air quality. It also offers exceptional acoustic performance thanks to its shock-absorbing effect, is safe and comfortable underfoot and extremely easy and cost-effective to maintain.
