Nu-Heat’s customer service award a first for heating sector

Nu-Heat Underfloor Heating & Renewables is today celebrating receiving a top national customer service award – the only company within the heating sector to be recognised in this way.

The national customer service award was presented to Nu-Heat by the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) – the UK’s leading independent, professional membership body for customer service. Known as the ICS ServiceMark, the award is given in recognition of consistently high levels of customer service. Nu-Heat is the first company from the underfloor heating industry to receive the ServiceMark.

Nu-Heat’s customer service standards were measured using feedback from its own people, its customers and an independent assessor. The high scores that Nu-Heat achieved across all three elements led to the ICS awarding the highest level ServiceMark with distinction, making Nu-Heat one of only seven companies in the UK to achieve this exceptional standard.

Sally Duff, ICS assessor, explains: "I am extremely impressed by [Nu-Heat’s] relentless focus on the customer across the whole company, both historically and especially in the last few years. The commitment starts at the top of the organisation and customer service is seen as being at the centre of everything they do".
