The Pavilion is a property on Barge Walk in Hampton Court Park near Hampton Court Palace. It is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England. It is the sole survivor of four pavilions for the Bowling Green at Hampton Court.

It was designed by William Talman under the direction of Christopher Wren as part of William III's improvements to the palace. The house is set in 2.3 acres of gardens. In recent years a replica of the surviving property was built, linked underground by a large entertaining suite and spa.

The Solid Wood Flooring Company worked directly with the new owner and the onsite Project Manager to supply 600 m2 + of new oak engineered flooring, teak poolside flooring and to renovate the original buildings old and damaged oak floor.

In the majority of the property The Solid Wood Flooring Company supplied unfinished boards in varying widths all 20mm thick. Using unfinished boards allowed the owner to achieve his desired finish directly to the floor on site once installed.

All the floors supplied had to be suitable with underfloor heating which all The Solid Wood Flooring Company’s engineered floors are.

The Solid Wood Flooring Company’s New Herringbone Basket Weave Parquet Flooring was used in the formal drawing room to keep with a traditional heritage look, but with a very modern and finish.

TW-E966 is a brushed fumed and limed UV oiled oak, grade ABC is a select grade, which offers character and this one in particular the natural grain is highlighted by the liming finish.

The UV oil finish is hardwearing and engineered parquet is suitable with underfloor heating. The Solid Wood Flooring Company’s basketweave parquet allows you to mix and match their existing range of herringbone with the centre squares required to create the basketweave design. You can even mix the different colours to create a striking and unique floor.

The Solid Wood Flooring Company also supplied all the teak flooring for the pool, gym and spa which is located underground in the new property. European Teak 88mm wide x 9mm thick and 300-1200mm long with a tongue and grove and black integrated joint which makes it completely water tight and offers a unique look.
