Old glassworks development to receive glass facade and balustrade

Old glassworks development to receive glass facade and balustrade

3 Glass Wharf is a seven-storey development that features a stunning glass façade and balustrade to reflect the sites previous usage as glassworks.

It was established that there was a need for the balustrade base fixing channel to effectively integrate with the terrace fascias and soffits.

BA Systems were contracted for the design, manufacture, and installation of their B40 Frameless Glass balustrades to the terraces. They were complemented by a stainless steel capping handrail and bas channel cover trims to integrate with surrounding trades.

To ensure their balustrade integrated well with the terrace fascia and flooring, they provided powder coated aluminium base cover trims to the channel. These will lap over the fascia fixings to give a seamless finish.
