On Trend Designs From British Ceramic Tile’s Latest Wall And Floor Tile Additions

With pearlescent and metallic finishes, mosaic designs and new sizes, British Ceramic Tile has launched its latest collections of up-to-the-minute wall and floor tiles, answering the latest trends in tile design.

Manufactured in Heathfield, Devon, British Ceramic Tile’s new products provide designers with a wide selection of design options. The new finishes, sizes and designs are ideal for use in a range of areas such as hotels, bars and restaurants or equally at home specified for residential installations.

Creative Colours is an inspiring collection of 148 x 148mm wall tiles available in a spectrum of colours from the subtle Nutmeg Speckle and Cornflower to zesty Marmalade and Poppy. Used either as a solid colour, chequered or horizontally the range offers a versatile design option.

Saturn is a new addition to the Urban range and is a collection of geometric designs available in a monochrome palette and metallic finish. The concentric circles of Saturn Lunar field tile create a striking optical, light-reflective effect. The straight, raided lines of Saturn Laser can work either with Lunar or alone to create an effortless scheme. Available in size 248 x 398mm, these tiles work in both portrait and landscape. Complementary floor tiles are also available in a metallic and black, 450 x 450mm.

Mosaics are a popular design option and answering this trend is the new ‘Mosaic Gallery’, incorporating the Seurat, Mondrian, Rothko and Lowry designs. These mixed material mosaics offer the latest trend in mosaic wall tiles. The flexibility of the sheet mosaics gives the designer freedom from fixed lines of conventional tiling. These products can be used either alone or combined to create an eye catching look. Available in 306 x 306mm.

Seurat echoes the pointillistic style of the artist himself. The mosaic dots are available in natural stone and shimmering glass, including Crema Marfil, Emperador Marble and Bluestone Basalt in polished and natural finishes with complementary tones of lustre effect glass. Mondrian mosaics are based on an asymmetric grid design with accent squares. The mixed glass gives an extra dimension and texture in a range of popular colour combinations. Rothko Amethyst and Sapphire mosaics are a vibrant choice with glamorous textures and a striking pearlescent finish. Lowry is a rectangular mosaic format of mixed glass and natural stone. The neutral palette would work in a variety of settings as a full wall, feature panel or border.

Additions to the existing Willow range include two coordinating floor tiles in Light Grey and Brown (330 x 330mm), along with three new wall tiles in White, Light Grey and Brown (248 x 398mm). The Straight 8 wall tiles have the appearance of tile strips without having to endure the lengthy tiling process of individual strips.

An effective lift to the plain White wall tile, British Ceramic Tile, has introduced two Hudson inserts with two colour options in Black and Beige. Alongside this, a White Metalli wall and floor tile has been added to the Urban range in sizes, 300 x 600 and 600 x 600mm.
