Operable walls from Beehive allow flexible spaces in classrooms

A school in Barnet was struggling for space and the solution was not an extension but the installation of three interconnecting sets of operable wall folding partitions by Beehive Folding Partitions.

These allow the formation of two classrooms during lesson time and the same space to be opened up to be used as part of the dining area at lunch.

The glazing in the panels helps the special needs pupils to feel comfortable and not “hemmed in” within the classrooms.

John Siddall, General Manager of Beehive Folding Partitions, commented that “Folding partitions are a cost effective solution for schools struggling with a need for space and balancing their budgets”.
