Type of works: VITRAL Inspiration stainless-steel framed panels incorporate specialist glass with supert low-e laminate, achieving an average U-value of 1.57W/m²K. At 41.5m long, the glazed roof has 10 fully-integrated smoke clearance and comfort vents. Spanning 3.6m, the roof glazing is a 30º self-supporting double-pitch.
An opportunity to build a new retail outlet on a Greenfield site on the edge of Arklow facilitated the development of a state-of-the-art premises embracing P Bolands expansion plans. A self-build project, the family selected their own engineer who worked alongside VITRAL and their installers to plan and deliver a modern and spacious retail environment fit for the 21st century. The superb stainless-steel finish and quality of the VITRAL Inspiration roof-glazing system complements the building and provides low-maintenance, energy-saving natural light and ventilation.
