Topakustik products played a key role in shaping the visual and acoustic character of Partners Group's headquarters in Baar, Switzerland. The project combined striking architectural design with high-performance acoustic solutions to create a cohesive and functional working environment.
A standout feature of the scheme is the auditorium, where precisely engineered curved baffles create a bold visual statement while delivering effective sound control. Complementing this, sophisticated grid ceiling systems were installed throughout the hallways and restaurant areas, helping to unify the overall interior design.
The large hall is another focal point of the development, featuring impressive cubic forms and a distinctive rust-coloured finish. While steel plates were originally specified, collaboration with Topakustik led to an alternative solution that enhanced both the design intent and acoustic performance of the space.
Throughout the offices and meeting rooms, sound-absorbing MDF surfaces were used to improve comfort and speech intelligibility while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic. The project is completed by the addition of the Green Building, which provides a striking contrast to the site's historic factory buildings.
